Conversion is done on a secure cloud server, which makes conversion easier, faster and much more battery-friendly. You must have an internet connection to use this app. Files are immediately deleted from the server after conversion. While the files are immediately deleted after conversion or cancellation, you should be aware that by using this app, you agree that your files will be sent over to internet from the app to the conversion server.

Pros and cons of The Ebook Converter app for iPhone and iPad

The Ebook Converter app good for

I had 22 "lit" format books that I wanted to read on my iPad. Got the converter , started to work my way thru them, and 90 minutes later was done.
Four stars because this took me a bit to figure out how to do. The description says you can convert documents directly from email, but to my knowledge you cannot. I finally figured out a work around- by using drop box. If I save the item to drop box, then have drop box create a link and copy that, I can paste the link and quickly convert the file in this app. Its a breeze now and all my conversions have taken 15 seconds or less.
Works well. I like being able to input the book title and authors name.
Neat little app. Now I can convert PDFs etc to Mobi and use the Kindle reading, highlight, and export features I love.
Does exactly what it says, works for both iBooks and Kindle so its up to your preference. Its definitely worth the money.
This app works very well. Ive been converting pdf files to epub. It uploads them to their engine and downloads the converted file. Epub files are about 1/10 the size of pdf files and the conversion is quite good. Since theyre smaller they also load faster when reading them. I like it, try it for your self. Just use the open in another app function on a document and select ebook convert.

Some bad moments

PDF to kindle conversion keeps PDF pagination and page numbers instead of converting to a proper kindle page flow. Very clunky. File share icon (square with up arrow) is also disabled in the kindle files which is not good. Did workaround by using pages to create an iBook file to get the proper page flow and then used this app to convert the iBook to kindle for a proper page flow, but the share icon was still disabled making it more labor intensive then it should be to send the resulting kindle app to kindle.
For a paid app, this is not up to par. Converts it, but kills the formatting leaving readers with a very disjointed text...
Fb2 to Mobi conversion always fails. ePub to mobi generally works but often creates incompatible files.
I just bought this app! Save your money! Its useless. No directions to use. Disappointing to say the least. If 0 stars was possible I would use it.
Description is misleading, will be asking for s refund. Very disappointed, will never buy from this developer again.
Im an avid reader and This app has been great for covering my books. So far very easy to use and havent had any problems yet.
